Floating House AKYA

Floating houses first became popular in Amsterdam, then, their popularity spread around the world
in areas where efficient use of the waterside is a concern. People’s interest in these houses augment
rapidly day by day , and, they also attract attention of luxury projects planners.

AKYA Project appeared to supply a demand for making use of a riverside in Germany where there is
no reconstruction permit on the land.

This floating house has a marginal look with its clear- cut design and structural silicone curtain walls
that we are accustomed to see in towers .On water environment it reveals a compatible standing in
spite of its marginal design.

It is designed for long lasting usage to resist for many years on waters as a water-proof product.

Thus, to reduce harmful effects of water and minimize seawater damage and in the meantime to
ease its floating it is produced by reinforced light aliminium structures.

Living in Akya is as fun as in a boat and as comfortable as in a house .

In my design, focusing on every single details, I gave a particular importance on wave suspension
system, equilibrium tanks ,full-fledged clean-up system, and solar panels.

Akya is designed for 2+1 home usage and it offers you a warm home environment with a nice kitchen
included storage volume ,a roof you can enjoy with your guests.

My inspiration as a designer while creating AKYA was my belief instead of constructing buildings
and overpopulating coastal areas, floating and portable houses can be subjects of innovative
projects proposing alternative housing for pleasant living solutions.
